Spin, Smile, Repeat: Our 360 Booth Took Over the Collingwood Spring Fair

On April 26, 2024, the Collingwood Spring Fair made a joyful return to North Vancouver, bringing together students, families, and the broader community for a day of classic fairground fun. From carnival games and inflatables to food trucks and live music, the event offered something for everyone — and the energy was as fresh as the spring air.

Vancity Photo Booth was thrilled to be part of the celebration, bringing our interactive magic to the mix with one mission in mind: give guests a way to capture the fun in full motion. With families, kids, and teens moving from one attraction to the next, we wanted to create a stop that not only entertained but delivered content people would be excited to keep — and share.

Planning & Strategic Approach: Why 360 Was the Move

Knowing the fast-paced, high-energy nature of the Spring Fair, our 360 Photo Booth was the perfect fit. Unlike a static setup, the 360 booth lets guests move, play, and get creative — whether they’re striking a pose or jumping into frame with friends.

We chose this format specifically because it taps into what guests love most: spontaneity, movement, and personalized content that feels dynamic and fresh. It wasn’t just about standing in front of a backdrop — it was about giving each guest their moment to shine (and spin).

From the moment we powered up, the booth became a magnetic hotspot. Kids ran over in waves, teens choreographed spins like they were filming Reels, and families jumped in for group videos with big laughs and even bigger energy.
