Photo Booth Host
Location: Vancouver, BC
Salary: $13-16/hr (Dependent on experience)
We are looking to expand our team by bringing on Photo Booth hosts to our events. You will be responsible for multiple things including and not limiting to hosting our photo booths during events. You will arrive at least an hour before the start time for the photo booth, setup, stay for the duration of the event, and take down at the allotted time. You must clock in and report to our senior staff members to ensure the timely setup and take down. You must always uphold a professional demeanour to everyone you interact with. Including your team members, clients, guests, venue staff, organizers and so forth.
During the event, you are responsible to ensure a clean workspace, clean taping, clean prop table, ensure guests are using and putting props back as needed, guiding guests correctly to queue a line and where to download photos the next day. During the event, you must greet guests with a smile, demonstrate how to use the booth, load paper, and interact with clients and manage the props. There may be times where there is an issue with the photo booth, however, if this happens you are to contact our tech team to solve the problem.
We love to see our Vancity family grow within our team, so do keep in mind there is always room to advance into other roles, including management! This position is Full time & Part-time, and you must be available for evenings and weekends. While you will be given your schedule at least 2 weeks in advance, there will be times you will be contacted on short notice to cover an event on an on-call basis. Minimum shifts are 2 weekends of the month including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
If you have a vehicle, that’s great. We will compensate you for gas. If you do not have a vehicle, one of our senior staff will be picking you up and drop you off before and after the event.
What we are looking for:
Individuals with a passion for delivering world class service to customers
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems
Understanding of remote support software such as TeamViewer
Basic Knowledge of DSLR Cameras and Photography
Can lift up to 35 lbs Equipment
Well spoken and confident
A valid BC driver’s license
